We use two validated assessments to build a picture of how you're actually wired — emotional intelligence coaching and strengths-based development, integrated into a single engagement. CliftonStrengths® maps all 34 of your talent themes, not just the top 5. We look at where your dominant strengths are working for you and where they've become liabilities, the version of you that shows up in a crisis versus the version that shows up on a good day. The EQ-i 2.0® maps your emotional intelligence across 15 dimensions. We don't chase high scores. We coach on balance: where you're over-indexing, where you're under-investing, and what that means for how people experience you in a room.
The Relational Fluency Architecture begins here, with focused work in the I Zone. You'll build the self-knowledge that stays accessible under pressure, not just when things are calm. Your assessment results and coaching become the foundation for understanding how you actually operate, what triggers you, and what patterns you default to when the stakes rise.
By the end of 6 sessions, you'll have a clear, evidence-based picture of your wiring. Not a personality label. A working understanding of what you bring, how you operate, and what kinds of environments let you do your best work. Over 12 sessions, we go beyond self-knowledge into direction, positioning, and a plan. Everything in MindLab: Experiment is here, plus a third assessment: the Change Style Indicator 2.0 reveals how you instinctively respond to change, whether you naturally conserve, originate, or bridge between the two, and what that means for how you navigate the transition you're in right now.
Then we add the dimension that changes everything. MindLab: Breakthrough introduces the full Relational Fluency Architecture, a proprietary framework that develops how you show up with other people across three zones: I Zone self-knowledge built through your assessments and our coaching work together, They Zone capacity to read others accurately rather than projecting your assumptions, and the Us Zone, where you learn to think with people rather than just about them.
The architecture shapes everything you leave with. Your Pivot Profile includes how you operate relationally under pressure, not just what you're good at in isolation. The 2-3 directions we identify account for the relational demands of each path, not just whether your skills fit. The positioning language we develop is built on your ability to read the person across the table and connect, not perform. And the 90-day action plan is full of conversations, interviews, and negotiations where the capacity to hold yourself under pressure is what determines whether the plan actually works.

Three zones, three capacities. The I Zone builds self-knowledge: who you are when the role falls away, what you value, and what happens to your judgment when the pressure rises. The They Zone develops your ability to read people accurately through observation, listening, and checking your assumptions before you act on them. The Us Zone is the signature dimension: learning to operate in the space between your perspective and someone else's, where the relationship itself becomes a resource rather than an obstacle. Most frameworks stop at understanding yourself and reading others. The Relational Fluency Architecture goes further. It's the difference between knowing how you show up and knowing how to show up with someone else when it counts.
The EQ-i 2.0 Leadership Report maps your emotional intelligence to four leadership dimensions: Authenticity, Coaching, Insight, and Innovation. Results are benchmarked against other leaders - professionals who typically score higher than the general population, giving you a clearer picture of where you stand among peers at your level. Ideal for managers, executives, and professionals preparing for their next leadership chapter.
The EQ 360 pairs your self-report results with anonymous feedback from the people around you. Peers, managers, direct reports, collaborators, friends, family, and others rate you on the same 15 EQ dimensions you rated yourself. The resulting report shows where your self-perception aligns with how others experience you, and where it doesn't. That gap is often where the most important development opportunities live. This is They Zone territory. The EQ 360 is available as a separate engagement alongside your Breakthrough program.
